| FTBL BREAKING: Ryan Williams and Jaylen Mbakwe to Launch New Podcast 'New Wave'

I’m with both arguments here - it can be a really good thing - if managed correctly.

Let’s hope (and it sounds like this might be the case) there’s some oversight and guidance involved. RW is 17…this is the first time these kids have lived away from their parents or guardians. This is the most publicity they’ve had in their lives/learning to manage money (hopefully). They have a lot going on in their lives right now.

On the flip side - imagine if it’s successful. Thats a HUGE recruiting pitch. And like was said above, this kind of ties them to the program a little stronger than before.

Good idea for them and I’m sure the episodes will get downloaded a ton. Remember, these guys aren’t spending their nights studying like some. They don’t have to do much of that these days. They could be recording it on a Sunday, when they probably have the most free time.
One of the player said that in recent interviews that having Monday off is huge, it allows everyone to do their work for the week and have rest of week off. Man, If I had that schedule, I would be busy cutting folks hair Tuesday to Thursday in my dorm.

Just watch this podcast. So right now not a fan. If my college instructor would grade this she may give them a C+.

It's their first one .. you're so hard to please geez.

I didn't watch/listen, but just checked their channel... In just 1 day, they have almost 4300 subscribers. 27,000 views and almost 2,000 likes on the first video. And that's just the YT platform... I assume they are on itunes, Spotify, etc. Grade the content however I guess, but if you're grading impact, reach and overall success... those numbers are pretty extraordinary. There will be some decent money made off this venture, especially if they start to throw in some advertisements (and maybe they already are?).

It isn't live. It's produced and edited. Guidance and mentorship are both baked into the cake (see previous post).
I go back to my to many voices coming out of T-Town. It is what it is so CKD has to manage the distractions. That is his job.

BTW I do not watch much of all the other coaches video either. I want to hear what the head man has to say.
