🏈 Block

Not to change the subject, as that was one helluva block, but did Mark Barron catch that ball in-bounds that he was penalized on? They never showed the actual catch again. They just replayed Mark slamming the ball in front of the ref. Needless to say, it was very uncharacteristic of Mark, and you can bet, it will be the first and last time Mark is flagged for unsportmanlike conduct. He is one player that get it, and I think that is why CNS did not go ballistic on him.

Great block by Williams. And good hit by Hightower, but not as spectacular as it first appears.

The guy was engaging another Bama rusher when Hightower blows through him.

Not many guy are going to avoid getting bowled over when hit by a LB with a full head of steam.

Here is Hightower blowing up his man, flip book style...

The Hightower clip can be fun to breakdown and learn a little more about the philosophy on defense. Notice he blows up 73, but that isn't even the guy who is supposed to blocked him, 74 is supposed to block Hightower. Hightower takes out 73 and 74 on the play so that 91 Alex Watkins can stunt up the middle and pressure the quarterback on the play.

Absolutely. All about the team. The thing about it is that Hightower created so much calamity and he almost got to the QB.
