🏈 Big news: Tim Williams to stay for senior year

I never thought he was leaving. Jonathan Allen is the big question IMO, A'Shawn is a sure thing to leave tho. Hopefully Foster sticks around like Ragland did too.
I saw awhile back a tweet that sort of eluded to his production as a pass rush specialist (which, about 90% of his snaps are passing downs), and it was some otherworldly high percentage of his snaps were either a sack, or at the very least, a QB hurry.

He'd conservatively grade out as an early- mid 2nd round draft pick just as a pass rusher.

I think he could creep into the 2nd round just based off of workouts, when teams see the speed in person, but with another year and likely as a fulltime player next season he could be an elite 1st round pick. Thats why I figured he would stay, same with Ragland last year.

Yeah, he came on big time and showed his speed and rushing ability. He definitely could have gone and gotten drafted without anyone questioning why he was leaving. This is good news, very good news. Him and Evans will cause teams a lot of trouble next year.

When it comes to how the NFL grades proficiency, Williams lead the NCAA at his position/role.

There's a report out there covering him ... bout two, maybe three weeks old. I saw it mentioned on Twitter ...

I think Saban or their position coach will sit down with each individual player and let them know where they stand for the draft. Some will be better off by staying another year and others need to move on. Should be an interesting few weeks before signing day.
