Anyone had any from the following in Alabama?

Archibald's B.B.Q in Northport
Big Cove Bar-BQ,in Huntsville
The Brick Pit in Mobile
Starlight Grill in Florala

The Archiblands on MLK (a cinder block shed) is very good. The Brick Pit is very good (ribs) as well, especially for lower Alabama BBQ.

Big Bob Gibson's is great. Of course, living in Decatur I think I sometimes take it for granted...

As for brisket, there is a place in Madison, AL called "Chuck Wagon." Hands down best Brisket I've ever had in Alabama. The building is small, looks like an old shack. The guy that owns it is from Texas, so he knows how to smoke some freaking awesome brisket. Any time we have people from out of town here on business, it is my first choice to take them to for some local flavor.

Brandon, if you are ever up near Huntsville, let me know. I'll take you there and you can get some Texas-style brisket.

Burgers, BBQ, dang, ya'll making me HUNGRY and it's only 7:30 am! :bluebiggrin: Who has the best? Well, that's a tough one. As far as the best in/around the Birmingham area, (as someone posted earlier), Tin Top in Calera wins hands down.
