So the next game will be at Vandy on Wednesday? So what is all you guys thinking about this game?
Even though their schedule has been on the weak side and they are ranked higher than us, their biggest win I guess was over unranked Memphis and I believe they've only played 2 ranked teams (SMU is 24 & UCF is 25), that said, Vandy gonna be tough at home, always have been when we play them there.

Looks like we will be without Sherrell. Hopefully Williamson can pick up the slack again. We are hurting for big men that can defend the basket.
“Everybody practiced today except Aiden Sherrell, and he’s gonna end up being a game-time decision,” Oats said on Tuesday. “We’ll try to work him out a little bit up there when we get up there. We’ll have a little shootaround tonight. We’ll see how that workout goes, see how he responds with it tomorrow and make a decision.

Bama's scoring defense. It's not good.
Our defense is 50/50 at times. The eye test alone sort of tells you that Alabama's length at guard does a good job on-ball D, not giving up many blow bys, and clogging passing lanes. But a lot of other issues persists. Giving up 2nd chance opportunities or transition D. Also go through spells of poor effort.

Vandy will be tough. Byington is a good coach. I do think either team could win by double digits.

Our defense is 50/50 at times.
The way UA lost to the 'Zags and Zona is affecting the ranking. There is no denying "bad" when you see a team ranked in the mid-300's in scoring defense and there are about that many teams playing D1 ball. Literally, bottom of the barrel.

I pointed that out because I believe it's one of the main factors in this game. The second big one is Bama's inability to force turnovers (as they prepare for a team that excels in that area.)

If you are wondering, it's Phillpott and Fishback on the call tonight; definitely the "C-crew."

I'm much rather listen to this duo than Ravech and Dykes (who have the call when Texas visits Saturday.)
