🏀 🏀 #4 Alabama vs. Georgia 🏀 - Five Score in Double Figures to Lead Alabama Past Georgia, 90-69

I really didn't think we even played that well. Kind of took control of UGA imploding after Mike White got T'd up.

Had small spurts of good offense, followed by Georgia being god awful on offense. Holloway is doing showcasing so much, I'm wondering if Oats will start him over Philon. Sherrell is showing his potential as a big. Knocked down some 3s and play post D really well.

Sears was hit or miss. Same as Youngblood. Bad turnovers in the 1st; better second half.

@Bammerboy321 you entertain us so we do not need to comment :). I did watch the game but just hard for me to participate in anyin game thread and watch the game at the same time. I might be able to in basketball but no way I could do it in football. My irritation level escalates when I see lack of effort and careless handling of the ball... Careless ball handling is the norm for this basketball team... If Oats can fix the ball handling and improve the D this team has no limit. Will they? Time will tell.

Unfortunately it's been a thing that has always plagued Oats' teams. He demands such a fast-paced style that is usually getting a shot off within the first five seconds. The one thing I'd wish he'd tweak is limiting the amount of dribbling for the non-primary ball handlers. Unless you're Sears, Philon, or Holloway, do your best to not put the ball on the floor and do your best to create space/screen. The freedom would come with the opportunities of an open shot or cuts to the basket + shot at the rim.

But of course it's also hard to complain about an offense that is annually ranked #1 in pace and scoring

A couple of them (sears included) go 100 mph when often times 85 mph will do. But they get going so fast, that it causes them to force things too quick... some of the steals and errant passes are just beyond frustrating.
