After his selection to the U.S. Army Bowl team to play for the West:

"I think the West will be able to (win), especially if we can play defense," he said. "That's something I'm looking forward to in college, (playing on) a team that can play great defense. I think the offense will be there but I think it's defense that makes a great team.

I really liked our chances until I did some more digging. Mike Gundy handed the ball off to his daddy at OSU during their hey-day in the 80's. In the end, I don't know if our pro style offense is going to be enough to lure him away from their family ties up there. I know that he would prep for the NFL better at UA as opposed to OSU, but only time will tell. Hope we get him.

Yep and the fact that OSU is having such a great season certainly won't deter him.:frown:

We have Saban with two NC and they Gundy with none, oh and we have a heck of a defense and OSU I doubt has a defensive coordinator let alone a defense.

If Trent does win the Heisman I think that does a lot for our chances of landing Sanders, two heisman winning RBs, two NC (if we win it this year), and a GREAT defense.

Yeah I would LOVE for Bama to bring this kid in but I just don't really see it happening. Too many ties to OSU.
