Redshirting is for longer term development, not short term. I know many think that BB is the QB of the future, but how many have seen him play at the college level? For those that have, how did he do? Why hasn't CNS raved about his performance this Fall? He has a long way to go in the development of a QB that could go to the NFL. How many other high school phenoms have gone to college and excelled early (Christian Hackenberg? Gunnar Kiel?). Instead of anointing him with All-American status, let him develop in practice so when he does play, we don't have Spencer Pennington flashbacks.
