Set a pocket and let him do what he does best. I feel as if he is good with his reads and then when he runs he is more of a threat. Our receivers aren't blocking worth a **** and neither is Shank. Time to open it up to OJ and then see what happens with the run game once we can make them honest.

The runs up the middle are doing alright, I think. But with those extra defenders sunk back (ostensibly saying "just try to run on us"), we aren't going to get any sideline to sideline crap. Pound them up the middle, and challenge that young secondary.

We have held the ball almost twice as long as our opponent, who has limited D depth. We've had them chase edge guys in the first half. The taste of off tackle runs has whet my appetite for this second half. Smash mouth will give us the lead, and it should ice this game.

Jacobs had one run for almost 30, so that's like a third of it in one carry.
