In terms of wearing down a D with limited depth, this was a perfect drive. Clearly, a TD is preferred over a FG, but a solid kick. Also, I'm not sure that Hurts isn't a little rattled after getting hit hard three times on that play. He did get the ball out quicker on this drive. The overthrow was painful, but I can't say he underthrows all the time any more.

Hentges can't get more wide open than that. They really needed a TD on that drive. On the positive side, it was a long sustained drive and they did score, AND the defense got a long breather.
