Lions made a brilliant move drafting Gibbs. Hope they win it all. Love Gibbs game and him being a Georgia boy.

Gibbs was a really good player at Bama but no way in hell was he as quick and fast as he is today. That cat has another gear now.
I think he was underutilized at Bama, at least during the first third of the season. He had big games against Arkansas and aTm. There were a number of players in the rotation that year, with McClellan being the initial starter, but it's now clear who had the most potential. His acceleration to split defenders reminds me of an open-field Michael Vick.

That seam he hit against Arkansas in that one run was amazing. Wasn't no one catching him on that one.
Given time to throw, he would've been successful from the start. Emerging uninjured and/or healed (which was never a certainty), he's better for having overcome the difficulties.
