It's the off season and this thread has been all over the place.....but along those lines. I wonder if Saban has an indoctrination process for the new staff.? Do's and Don'ts of working at UA.

I remember when Franchione was here, his wife went a local store and was shocked some little old lady knew who she was. This was like the first month she was here. I think that Fishbowl was something Fran was not prepared for when he took this job. Same could be said for Price. Rumor was, that Mal had several conversations with him about going to local bars and hanging out at the local watering holes and being seen.

Driving around with a couple of co-eds and running into things deserved far more than "if you're going to drink, go to North River."

Saban has his program which follows compliance (who has one of their own.)

Was in reference to when he was at Washington State. He thought he could continue doing what he did there. Therefore, he was clueless when he was at Alabama.

The fishbowl that is Tuscaloosa. What one can get away with as the head coach at Washington State one can't get away with at Alabama.

It's not limited to just the football program. Look at Gottfried as somewhat of an analogy.

Freeze is running around Oxford having a good time. Gottfried gets caught with a co-ed and quickly the story makes its way to afternoon sports radio—Finebaum included.

Price couldn't make it around Tuscaloosa without it being known where he was, who he was with, and what he was doing.
