🏈 Auburn's new football coach raising alarms

Goodman was the first person I thought about yesterday when it came out that auburn is 60% vaccinated and their coach is 100% not. After his slobbering article on Harsin a couple weeks ago, I know the news yesterday was a tough one for him to swallow.

I'm not interested in debating the vax here on this page. THere's another page on this board for that. I do think, however, that Goodman is right. Meemaw ought to put a call in to her alma mater. Butterteeth has already alluded to it, and now Goodman is all but saying that Harsin is in over his head.

Coach Saban also did not force players to get the vaccine. The key difference here is he brought in three different experts to go over any and all concerns with the players during those meetings. The results are that the team is now 90% or above vaccinated.

Education and leadership.
This is one area that will be difficult to replace when NS walks away...
He is so intuned on how to do most anything the right way..

I'll say this too.... his media days appearance yesterday was really weird. I've never seen him do a press conference before, so maybe that's normal for him, not sure. But he got up there and rambled for 15 minutes to open it. It was like he had memorized a bunch of stuff of the auburn media guide on the trip up and was giving an introductory speech like he'd just been hired the day before. He only had time to take 3 questions from the media before his time was done, and he rambled on with those answers too (which meant less questions because of time). A complete 180 from Leach, who just got up there and basically said, "fire away!"

From the article:
“We’re making sure that they understand from our medical staff the pros and cons,” Harsin said.

From the Article:

"Harsin, like a lot of people, needs to understand that we’re all in this together. Let me tell you what’s personal, Bryan. On Thursday, a close personal friend had a medical event and was taken to the emergency room. The ER couldn’t help this person because it was filled with COVID-19 patients. She was taken to the fire department instead."

No Mr. Goodman. We are not "all in this together". This country is on the fucking brink thanks to filthy journalists such as yourself who use their platform to lecture us plebs on how to be better citizens. People like you created this powder keg waiting to explode and have demonized millions of Americans for years and now you expect them to suddenly kiss the ring for what you perceive as good? No, fuck you.

I agree he’s over his head. Maybe why he is not encouraging his players to take the vaccine is because of what Commissioner Sankey had to say during media days. Any team that was not able to play due to covid may have to forfeit that game and not do a makeup. He is facing Georgia, A&M, LSU, and Alabama sure loses.
