In Phenix City, one man built a full-on shrine to Coach Bear Bryant in his backyard — including a statue made out of scrap metal, houndstooth flags, and a speaker that played Bama fight songs 24/7. His neighbors begged him to turn it off during funerals.

Well, the shrine looks great. Everything else? I thought I might see Fred or Lamont step into view.
I still have my T-shirt of CPB with the phrase "Gone but not forgotten." All of you gentlemen are far more familiar to that sentiment than I could ever attain. But I will always remember CPB, even though, like many others, I never personally met the 'Man'.
