šŸˆ Auburn officials decide to retain Harsin

I'll say one thing about the girl and leave it at that, I feel worse about her. If this shit isn't true her name has been drug through the mud over nothing and it's definitely not right.

This whole situation is why Auburn will never be anything other than "little brother" as long as they allow the boosters/money guys of the old guard to continue to run things. It's absolutely insane. They have a Top 5 basketball team and Alabama's DC gets arrested for a DUI. All they had to do was literally nothing but they couldn't help themselves. Auburn is gonna Auburn.

It's 2022. Ready, fire, aim. Convict before the evidence is collected.

Hopefully Kevin Steele hasn't signed that deal with Miami....he can return to AU and get even more money from Yella Fella........again
Honestly I don’t care! Because I would love nothing more for the Boogs to fall in SMU hell for a while!
Found it - the one in the blue dress -

she’d get it! I mean dressed like that who wouldn’t at least test the waters?šŸ˜‚

I can't see why any coach with any other choices would even think about taking the Auburn job at this point. They need to post the position at the Alabama Unemployment Office if they drop Harsin now. Or just give it to Nix.
They will have to find someone that's willing to let the powers-that-be run the program. The AD thought his hire, Harsin, could buck the system. Just a little background check and Harsin would still be at Boise State.

Shit just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Now, I am hearing Ed. O's name as a possible replacement, if/when Boise Bryan heads home. Granted, that's speculation....but O?? Really?? The guy is worse than Chizik!!

Don't see that happening. He has agreement to not coach for a year

You see correctly, ain't happening. Unfortunately, there's is a good chance they come out of all this better off... I don't think it's a certainty, but it could well happen. Which after everything that has gone down there in the last 2 years, plus the power structure that will remain, would be something that only those soulless puppeteers could pull off...

At this point in 'football's calendar year' I don't see a problem with their ability to hire a coach. I do see a problem with them hiring a good coach. To me it looks like they're left with a stop-gap guy; a guy like John L. Smith.

Using Smith here as an example is irony defined in a lot of ways. His "service" as that guy was at Arkansas.

I saw one of the Auburn guys suggest Chizik as in the same role. Which leads me to a bigger point here.

Auburn has had their locker room split twice in the last decade; now and back under Chizik. We're not seeing the same issues now—you'll recall Chizik's staff and security ended up monitoring players behavior and activities in his tenure.

Do you see the common theme here?

When Arkansas fell apart at the end of the end of the Houston Nutt era who was the guy that was brought on staff (the year prior) as a new offensive approach, new blood, but eventually created a lot of division? Who was right back at their front door wanting the Arkansas job?

Who was the guy on Chizik's staff that was brought in for his innovative approach on offense, a new guy from outside the family? Who was right back at the Auburn door wanting the job as soon as Chizik was fired?

For three years we've talked about how the atmosphere in Auburn's locker room has been toxic, at best. Now we're seeing in throughout the whole program. Who was the guy ...

In the last 15 years I've seen Malzahn land at six jobs: three G5 and three P5. He's left all three P5 locker rooms in horrible shape.

Sheridan says that Freeze is Auburn's #1 guy.

Rane, Sanders, and Dr. Gouge are all three against hiring Freeze.

If those three are against Hugh, how can he be their #1 guy?

If Kansas had a song about this it would be "Twisting in the Wind."
