On the "The Goldbergs" Adam Goldberg was told by a friend about this sweet deal of 12 cassettes for a penny. So Adam go and buy multi time of these deals, till his friend tell him he gets a letter from the company for none payment. His mother got him out of this, but at the end of the show. Showing some of the tapes he had ordered in other names.
One like this sits in my dads garage now.
there was one in the parking lot at work the other day. i didn't get close enough to see how clean/not clean it was. but it stuck out to me as it was within a sea of newer cars.
it was cool seeing it, too.

how well i know. had a friend in high school whose dad had one. he drove the piss out of that thing.
1969 Mercury Cougar, one like this sits in my garage.
My dad and mom had one of these babies when I was a kid.

Not sure to tell you the truth, daddy got rid of it when I was 3 and bought a 64 Ford Falcon.

1964 Ford Falcon (two door) we had one exactly like this when I was 3 years old. Exactly like this one, color and all.
After the Ford Falcon, daddy went big time with the 1968 Buick Wildcat, ours was gold or tan.

My first car, 1969 Barracuda Fastback. Bought it in 1974 for $1350. Mine was blue, 318 auto in the floor.
1971 Ford Thunderbird with the backwards door on the back.
This 1974 is special to me. We went out west just before I turned 15 and my dad let me drive almost 1,000 miles. I loved this old car!
