My favorite ride, '70 SS Chevelle, @rick4bama,
My first car was a 65 Chevy II Nova, then a 66 with a 283 and a powerglide. It was pretty quick. I've a few old cars over the years as daily drivers: a 72 short wheelbase stepside Chevy pickup and a '77 vette in particular. I put 70-75,000 on each of them. I've ended up with a '65 mustang that I'll keep from now on.
This is what my 73 looked like except it was navy blue.

I'll have to snag a photo of when my Dad ran a dirt track in Sylacauga with an old flathead Ford. He ran Chevys in the late 60's, early 70's in Midfield at Dixie Speedway, greatest claim to fame was being spun out by Bobby Allison.
