I've gotten lost watching these videos with her. It's a lot of "pause, play, pause." Truly fascinating for me.
I post this because I was waxing nostalgic for a minute. You know how every relationship has that 'date night' thing?
There is/was a bar a few miles from the house. They had this "membership" thing (as clubs did in SC back then) and you could join a "mug club." I still have the mug somewhere in this house...had a T on one side, the script A on the other.
I have to give
@50+yeartidefan a bit of a break here. Sort of. The name of the bar? Crazy D's. Their "home brew" on tap? Crazy D's. (Miller LIte.) BUT...that $20 I spent on the mug also gave me happy hour all day long.
@UAgrad93 a nod to Harry's here...that mug got me $3 pitchers of beer. I digress.
She was a high school teacher. So, we'd meet at the bar at 3:30 or so in the afternoon...smoke a bowl, grab a pitcher, and play chess for an hour or so.
I despise board games. But, this is one I can't quit.
