šŸŒŽ Over the last several weeks, months perhaps, I've watched how casually the word "fatigue" is being tossed around. And now, trending on X, "riot."

The media and the right...so, everyone? Within this thread you will find, cited, how the Democratic NGO's are financing these protests and you are pointing to the right? You're pointing to the media which is overwhelmingly "left?" You're talking about people I've worked with, daily, for going on three decades.

Tim linked a great article. There are peaceful protests until. UNTIL.

If you are on the sidewalk in an organized group protesting something? I'm good. When you stop me from going about my daily life? I'm not good. That's not peaceful. If I'm LEO in this situation? I'm looking at everyone as a possible threat. How can you not? Here's where you are skirting a point. Those protests on "main street?" They affect businesses on the same street. If you are affecting their income, their livelihood, it ain't peaceful.

Do you realize how funny it is seeing people scream "national guard was called into CA" when the same thing happened with ...what was it, forty immigrants on Martha's Vineyard and the guard was called in there?
The media and the right do have it wrong, they both suck from the same tit. Let’s sensationalize shit to fit our narrative and let’s sensationalize shit to help our ratings. Compared to number of protestors the ones ā€œriotingā€ are very few, but they’re getting all the media coverage and the right is using it to advocate their escalation.

It is peaceful whether it affects a business’ income or not. Marching in protest is a fundamental right in this country and it is peaceful. Now, there’s a difference in marching and protesting and harassing businesses and such. Believe me everybody is viewed as a threat in a large scale situation like that because you never know when shit could go sideways.

For example- in Denver there was 17,000 people for the ā€œNo Kingsā€ protest (numbers are from Denver PD) and there were only 34 arrests, there 8200 protestors here and not one arrest, that was the case throughout this state, I know there were the arrests in Denver, two in Colorado Springs, and four in Greeley and there were protests in every city and bigger town in this state.

Big difference between NG in CA and Martha’s Vineyard, in MV it was the Governor and in CA it was the President, you know that funny thing called state’s rights that you’ve harped on with other subjects.

Whoa. No.

I'm a business owner and you are taking money out of my pocket with your protest on my street. No. Ain't peaceful.
It is peaceful. You may not like that it’s dipping into your wallet, but it is peaceful. As long as the protestors aren’t harassing or intimidating people trying to go into your business it is in fact peaceful from a law standpoint. Just because you’re pissed off that your wallet is being affected doesn’t mean we (LE) can arrest people

You’re a touch unhinged. Officers can’t just go around shooting fucking protestors man just because some unhinged dude thinks so. Let’s take J6, in front of the Capital when all those goons were fighting cops and shit, had the cops used deadly force on all those folks that would be murder, just like if cops used deadly force on the protestors in LA, Portland, whatever other city.
You are way too activist to be a REAL cop... IT WAS THEIR DUTY TO USE DEADLY FORCE WHEN ATTACKED...It is not their job to absorb deadly force actions of a mob or terrorist... The morons were getting seriously injured because they were scared or too much of a damn pussy to use deadly force... unfortunately now these people will always be a part of American society... They will be destroying and burning shit when they don't get their way... these terrorist now know that they can go into a city and destroy it for weeks... the insurrection act should've been declared on day number two and they should have been wiped out... It is obvious that you sympathize and support the terrorist... YOU ARE IN THE WRONG LINE OF WORK!
In J6 the officers could've used deadly force as soon as they entered the capital building without question... but they were probably afraid that they would kill the multiple FBI and federal agents that were pretending to be rioters... and the crisis actors... It was all bullshit.... if it wasn't FAKE , there would've been some officers getting killed up close and personal...

Things I read and stop for a minute...telling myself. Let's think about what you're going to say here.

I'll leave it at this. Do you think I know where his cell bill goes? Or, his 'net feed at home? Or, at his girlfriends...uncles?

Shit. Trash runs tomorrow...it's raining and I need to take the cart to the street...

Ok bud. Too activist because I don’t believe we should be murdering people in cold blood? Ok fine I’m activist. I’m too activist because I don’t buy into your ignorant, out of touch bullshit mentality? Fine, I’m activist.

I don’t sympathize or support anything other than the fucking CONSTITUTION. People have a right to protest, if people riot then it’s an arrestable offense and they get their day in court not murdered. Absolutely nothing rose to deadly force in absolutely any fucking manner. It’s not about being ā€œtoo scaredā€ or ā€œtoo much of a damn pussyā€, it was about not going to fucking prison for murder, the fact that you don’t grasp that is both idiotic and concerning.

Deadly force was used once on J6 and how’d that go? Also, according to your logic as soon as they entered the Capital the cops should’ve just sprayed and prayed right? We cannot just mow people down. I 1000% disagree with the use of deadly force on J6.

You know a while back, you said you don't hang around cops... I really think that they don't hang around you.. and when they see you coming, they look for ways to exit the situation..You fit right in with The fbi or IAs.. YOU ARE IN THE WRONG LINE OF WORK.. I wish some of the shit that you post here was able to be seen by your colleagues.. that way they'll know where they stand with you..

One of these days these THUGs that you protect is gonna turn on you and either murder you or severely injure you...These people have zero right to do what they have been doing for the past "over" a week..And thanks your type of officers, they will continue to get worse and worse.. more and more violent... more and more deadly.., and one day instead of injuring officers, they will kill the officers...and innocent people, that don't see it their way ...And then We the people will finally have to take out the trash..

That's the very thing I'm pointing to here. When one group is preventing someone from making a living it's not peaceful. It may not be violent. But, it definitely doesn't qualify as peaceful. The premise here doesn't make sense to me. Is it peaceful if a guy only loses business for a day but if it's three days it's no longer peaceful? Is there a dollar limit?

I haven't suggested people be arbitrarily arrested: nothing of the sort. If it's affecting someone's health, safety, or say actions are taking food off the table? These are "lawful assemblies?" I'm not seeing that as feasible.

It's not peaceful, and it's not violent. Nonviolent protests can be obstructions - sit-ins and the like - and can break the law, like obstructing legal uses of public and private property. In the protester's minds, they believe images of them being dragged away by the authorities gives them the moral high ground.

When people jump in front of a car to detain it, that's not peaceful and the driver cannot know their intent. Keep going. Reginald Denny should have.

I don’t really care what you think about me, my career, or anything of the sorts. Here’s the thing, nobody cares what side of the political aisle each other are in this career, politics doesn’t play a part in whether we do our jobs or not. I assure you I’m not the only left leaning cop in the country let alone my agency.

You’re either not very smart, an absolute troll, or have some sort of lust for people that disagree with you politically to be murdered, you can decide which one you are. Nobody has the right to riot, you’re right, but that doesn’t mean we can just murder them as you’re advocating. ā€œWe the people will finally have to take out the trashā€- no you won’t, you’ll sit in your comfortable space and get on the internet and talk shit, that’s all you’ll do. You remind me of people I’ve taken to jail that yell ā€œif not for these cuffs I’d beat your assā€ and they’ve all had the same thing in common, once they get to booking they cry for their wives, Moms, or girlfriends.

If it’s on public property i.e a sidewalk they can protest whether a business owner likes it or not, private property is an entirely different thing, that’s arrestabe, but again if it’s a public sidewalk we cannot arrest anybody. If said protestors get onto the roads and are impeding traffic then we’ll disperse the crowd and in that case people could and will be arrested.

That moral high ground shit is what mostly happened during the George Floyd protests, it’s like the sovereign citizen types, they want to go ā€œviralā€ on social media.

Many states have stand your ground laws and not knowing intent could lead to people dying or at least ending up in the hospital. Reginald Denny was the semi driver during the LA Riots in the 90s right?

YOU ARE INDEED IN THE WRONG LINE OF WORK...Luckily, we used to have a way of running your type out of the job rather quickly..You say you don't care about what I think (look up)... could have fooled me... just obsessed with the last word?...IM SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW DEADLY FORCE INCIDENTS WHEN I SEE THEM..You apparently not so much... You can get killed or injured all you want..A lot of these officers should know much better.. I distinctly remember you bragging about you using deadly force before.. Maybe you've changed your mind since that..
YES You are going to run up on that one guy, one day that will follow through on "beating your ass" maybe even in the booking area...Some of these guys look at jail and prison as "getting some rest"..If they hurt a cop, at the jail especially, they will get a great "store call" inside.. Then a liberal judge will slap him on the wrist..
You keep believing that people aren't going to handle this...WAIT AND SEE DUDE..These people are going to venture into the wrong place and "boom"... it's inevitable ... and then people like you are gonna be scratching a hole your head...A reckoning is coming...

I wonder the estimates for the number of people taking part in the LA protest. 5,000, 10,000, 15000, maybe more?
There are estimates of 1,000,000 or more illegals living in the county. We have not seen anything Yet. We have not seen the worst of the worst,
Gang members, terrorist and such. Mostly we Have seen ordinary, true protesters and Paid shit stirrers such as ANTIFA, BLM and others hired to start shit.

I think it's definitely over ten million.

You made a post that seemed that way.. but just so you know... I actually support you using it 100%..you did what you had to do to make it back home to your loved ones.. so the lesson is you are not a "murderer" for using it.. and neither is other cups if they make the personal decision to use it in a bad situation...Deadly force is an ugly but necessary part of the job...
