Major League Baseball outdistances all other sports, and tallies more attendance than the NBA even in average per game. I failed to locate trends readily, but I would guess that MLB set that record during Big Mac’s chase for the homerun record which bolsters your claim. As an educated guess, I would guess MLB has leveled off though.

I’m a proponent of keeping the wooden bats. There are much safer ways of increasing average and homeruns without going to aluminum – mound height, strike zone integrity, and even fence distance standards just to name a few. Umpires are human but that’s part of what makes the game great. I say keep things the way they are.
We DO need a baseball forum!

There's a few things I need to "tweak" and it'll be up and running soon...hopefully by days end. It's "built" now...just a matter of adding a few things here and there.

Only pro sports for me is the occasional boxing match (I boxed Golden Gloves) and MMA. When I'm channel hopping, I'll catch a few minutes of pro football just to see if one of our guys is doing well.

Olympics discussion forums would be a good idea. With all that will be posted about curling, it may get too big. I'm looking like maybe two or three posts about it. :icon_lol:

Oh, as much as some of you would like it I can't see it being feasible to be team specific. For all I know, we might only have one Eagles fans (God bless her soul) when it comes to the NFL...and I don't think it would be very user friendly to include feeds from 32 teams in the NFL, all the teams in the MLB, etc.
