Richardson/Lacy -- 207 carries 1454 yds 22 td
Ware/Ford -- 207 carries 953 yds 12 td

Didn't realize they had the same number of carries. That's probably because Ware/Ford have 500 less yards though.

For the most part, I base my comparisons on fictitious information that I dream or spiritual palm readings.

Wow, me too! But down here in the land of "Swamp People", I tend to read the gator's eyes by moonlight while he chomps on a voodoo zombie, then mix the results in with the way the rice and shrimp fall in the bottom of my bowl of gumbo.

I find it more accurate that way...

Here's some more "fun facts" as we go about breaking down this game that can't come fast enough.

LSU # 6 Nationally, but only #62 in punt returns.

Bama #19 in punt returns, but only #71 in net punting.

Turnover margin--LSU #2, Bama #19

(all from http://www.rollbamaroll.com/2011/10/24/2508175/statistical-snapshot-alabama-vs-lsu-at-first-glance )

With all the ins and outs of the statistical debates, the game could turn on Turnovers or a special teams play...but what else is new?

IF LSU beats Alabama, it will be in the kick game. I have no doubt about it. LSU is excellent where Alabama is below average. If it's a close game, I think LSU has the edge because of their ability to flip the field with punting.

Another interesting fact.... In recent years the visiting team has won this game more times.

Which makes me think of some funny statistic quotes:

“Statistics are like a bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is vital.” Aaron Levenstein

and my person favorite
"If you squeeze statistics long enough, they will tell you what ever you want to hear!" unknown author...possibly Dick Cheney though
