🏈 Andre's salary cut potential!

I'm not buying the whole $ loss sky is falling spin just yet. That's if the guy flops. I'd like to think big A goes in the top of the first after he shows what he can do. He'll be laughing all the way to the bank and it isn't the Detroit Savings and Loan?

I think some team is going to get a good deal if his stick really has dropped that much.

Good thing he's not under center....."if his stick really has dropped"!!

ST......it's rrreeally slow in the forum football world right now.

Your right....someone will get a good deal.

Can't believe he is doing all this. But someone is going to take him in the first round(if he can get his act together and the individual workouts before the draft).

I agree that it seems the scenario has not fully played itself out yet so who knows what will happen. But even given a worst-case scenario that he is "drafted late" and his starting yearly salary drops to a single-digit millions figure, somehow it's just not in my heart to feel sorry for him. Like, even if he has a widowed mother/fatherless siblings and in general a family the size of the Waltons counting on him, they're not going to be hurting and neither is he.

What Andre is going to lose is "guaranteed money" as in a signing bonus. NFL contracts are not guaranteed. He thinks he got chop blocked in college? He hasn't seen anything yet. He has seriously increased his risk factor.

Yep. That $25-$30 million signing bonus would have set him for life.
