That's awesome progress! Now on full or partial tear... As someone who has had both, the size and placement of his bandage makes me think that he has had work done on his patellar tendon. They use the center 1/3 strip of that tendon (with bone attached on either end) to insert in place of a fully torn ACL. They use screws to attach either end to the femur and tibia. However, I would have expected to see evidence of stitches on the lateral side of his lower femur (lower thigh) just above the level of the knee joint where they go in to place the tendon assembly and screw it to the femur. So... hopefully we'll get a good prognosis statement in the next few days, but I'll hold out hope for a gradual return starting in late October.
