I'm still gonna say it til he proves me wrong. Defense did play well in the 2nd half, though Vandy didn't hammer the run like they did in the 1st half.

They didn’t exactly crush it the first half considering the main yardage came on two runs. Pretty much shut down besides those two runs for 101 yards. Say what you want about KW, but that’s some good D.

So few things to note:
I've been saying all week that I felt confident that Alabama was going to win and I kept looking at this from both side of the ball. I felt good about Defense. I felt good about adjustments for the game. First half, I was concerned because the team was not executing properly on both side. I felt like we left 14 points in the first half and 7 points in second half. This game should've been over by 3rd quarter. I'm in love with the adjustments they made at half time. they essentially shut Vandy down. Running game was there. I think this game answered lot of questions for Brandon and Terry and others. Many of the fans here and the other board had little faith... but at the end of the day if this win doesn't covince you that the team is progressing better each week, then I don't know what to tell you.

Defense wasnt' bad in 2nd half. They didn't allow but 22 yard rushing in 2nd half.

This team could either go 11-1 the rest of the regular season or I could still see us losing 3 or 4. So inconsistent.

Bama standard.... Going back the the Bear days I would talk about a Bama game and people would ask, Bama won right? Bama fans that understand the game have always looked at how they play not just W/L.... W/L is important but not the only thing.
