Im hopeful, but they gotta come out and play better than they did in the first half. Our inability to fit our runs and maintain our gaps is killing us. I feel like they're gonna run the ball a lot on their first drive. Lots of Rpo stuff, pulling guards to get our ILB's out of position, lots of motion presnap. That's what they've been killing us with.
Well we certainly weren't firing him after the first season, it shows 0 confidence in DeBoer if you do that. So you give him another year to prove it. I've said it last year and this year...Wommack is STREAKY he has games where he's lights out and games where he just looks lost and fails to adjust anything. He's done better this year making adjustments but it would be inexcusable to continue to struggle this much against the run and continue to be out schemed. We shall see, if he makes adjustments against Vandy during half-time. One adjustment I would make is telling you safeties to key on the run more and force Pavia to make deep throws. He's under a lot more pressure this year vs last year so shutting down the run is the most important fix right now. Force them to sling it and Pavia will make a mistake eventually.
Only problem here is we can’t really expect changes in the second half which means the game will likely be this tight to the end. Just so long as Vandy doesn’t make any changes.
In all honesty… I just want to get the win any way possible. We just need to get past this game. I really feel it could be one of our toughest left. I actually feared it more than uGA because Vandy truly believes that they can and will win.
I'm not defending him at all, but all things considered, only giving up 14 and being tied seems like a win considering how that felt.
I felt the same way last weekend. Can't say we played amazing, but we played pretty good to only give up 21 to Georgia and not allow their adjustments beat us.

You are right, this is one of the toughest tests we have left with UGA done. Essentially I see it as
1 - Vandy
2 - OU
3 - LSU
4 - USCe/Mizzu - One of these two will be a tight game IMO hard to tell if Mizz is fully legit and on the road in Columbia is never easy
A lot of these are at home too, so it's in our favor for sure with that.
You gotta believe Vanderbilt is going to go into the bag of tricks coming out after half-time. They're going to want to keep ahead in the score. It was how they handled the game last year too...whenever they were on a critical drive they pulled out shovel passes, trick plays, all kinds of stuff to try to keep the lead in their direction. Bama just needs to stop them early here and try to regain the lead and put Vandy on the defensive.

GREAT start, they started with the RPO and wanted to go deep right after that on a move. Defense held, I knew they'd want to come out and try something. Now go take the lead
