🏈 🏈 👀 PRE-GAME: Georgia @ Alabama week

Bad News: Jordan Battle will miss the first half (Assuming that leaves #3 & #29 to start)

Good news: We will have a fresh Jordan Battle in the 2nd half

UGA won't play near as fast as Ole Miss, but Battle should give us a legit boost at halftime.

PS - A good reason to receive the ball if you win the coin toss... JMO

To pick up on that, as bad as Bama's defense played against Ole Miss, a lot of those problems were caused by Ole Miss (Kiffin). UGA isn't built like that. Now, if Bama still can't tackle Saturday night, then it's not going to be fun to watch. But, if Saban & Co. can get that cleaned up this week, then things will look much better, IMO. The Tide has played 3 games against 3 dynamic offenses (in terms of calls and schemes). UGA isn't quite on that level, they are more Alabama 2009 than Ole Miss 2020.

Also some good things going for Bama so far this season... no serious injuries thus far (just minor stuff that everyone deals with), FG kicking is no longer an adventure with a healthy Reichard back, and Sark is using all his weapons and is in a groove right now (and there is still more in the bag in terms of what they can/will do).

Yes... All of those things are big time. I feel great about Sark & Reichard. I also have much more confidence knowing that the UGA QB isn't near as dynamic and athletic as the guys who typically give us fits.

Which should spotlight the run D... Have to tackle better and make life easier for the secondary. Battle felt like "the adult" at safety, so some obvious concerns about how UGA will attempt to expose the other 2. They'll have to step up... Both have some experience and "learning opportunities" under their belt.

Pickens is such an immature asshole. He did this, and then gets into a slugging match last year at Georgia Tech, and he's always shoving people. Just a modern day thug with how he acts. Tons of talent, but it's going to take him one time to get his bell rung before he falls into place. Unfortunately Georgia has cake walk schedule last year until this point this year where he hasn't simply faced much opposition. Hopefully the Tide will put him in his place.

I am hopeful that Stetson will play at a lesser level than he has since he replaced the UGA starting QB vs The Hogs. While he isn't a great athlete he has football savvy and does good things. UGA has a better defense and a much better punter. Bama has the edge in the receiver group and the OL is a wash. Mac is going to need to play really well since Bama again will be forced to score at least 35 to win and that might not be enough with this defense. While winning will be good the game is actually not the end game for UGA nor Bama but after game after this weekend will be win or go home. The 10RC game is going to be huge.

16 games and he is as lost today as he was last year. LBer recruiting (not rankings but actual performance) went to shit when Pruitt walked out of the door. You would think a program like Bama would have two solid guys behind the two starters that are so average but I guess that isn't the case. Perhaps by game 6 we might see of one of the freshmen gets into the rotation. It's not like he has to be Leroy Jordan.

Three games ago you were praising the linebackers where he had a hell of a game. That day your target was the defensive line.

LB recruiting is not an issue. You are even describing performance, not ability. FYI.

the last LB recruiting class was the best in the country - Anderson, Sanders, Kennedy, Q. Robinson, Bratton. There are plenty of good LBs on the roster.

And here it is.

Did you see ONE Bama DL kicked azz or dominating his space? The best thing I saw on defense was the play of the two ILB over the 2 from last year.

Harris was playing last season and you knocked him repeatedly. You start off this year with that comment only to change in a few days time.

I swear you look for things to bitch about.
