Ole Man.....The Tide doesn't have one player that could start for Rhode Island....now a couple might be able to come off the bench and play but not one starter. Oats has his hands full. Maybe 10-12 wins this season.

I thought bama had a chance to make a splash. Not a hammer on Oats. But " inside the box" @TerryP is just another coach moving from one program to another just hoping u hit the jackpot Not necessarily an upgrade or down grade. Bama should be able to put together a great program. And hopefully will

Even the GOAT Saban took a year to turn bama football around. That was with the tradition of bama football to go with it. Bama basketball does have some good history but the last 20 years has been very mediocre so it has been become their culture. Will take a strong coach to change the culture and turn it around. Hold out hope that Oats is that guy. Give him a few years.
