| MBB/WBB đźŹ€ Alabama vs Creighton 🏀 - Alabama defeats Creighton 83-75 in Coleman Coliseum Return

While I share some of the same frustrations as others where we should have won this game by 20, this was a team that just beat Kansas. We could been on the wrong side of it, but I felt we controlled most of the game. We just got off a LONG road trip and playing a tough schedule. Plenty to clean up, but happy with a pretty non-in doubt victory.

This was a game where I seen a bunch of floaters instead of layups and 3’s. Maybe that’s a wrinkle when going up against a 7 footer.

I know last year we’d just bash our heads up against the wall forcing layup attempts against shot blockers to have it rejected time again. Almost a layup , from afar.

Aaron S. Estrada esque.

I listened to the game last night. I've watched it off and on through out the day. I know I saw at least four different defensive sets against Bama last night. At one point it was three in the matter of about a minute and a half: back to back to back possessions.

After the early Bama run, look at his first set change taking away passing and driving lanes ... most call it a type of gap defense.

Finished watching the replay. Felt better about the team after watching it. Reid played well and played hard. Philon keeps getting better and better. I also thought Omoruyi had is best game on defense. Seemed to play harder and more physical than he had played. The Bama D let the 3 point shot get open on them a few times down the stretch and Nelson's foul on the 3 point shot late that turned into 4 points. Those 3's and that play made it closer than it was. All in all a good win. Youngblood with a few games should help when SEC play starts.
