Sears is really bad at defense. That is the second straight time he has given up again on a switch and left his guy wide ass open.

If you’d told me Nelson, Stevenson and Dioubate would combine for 6 points, I’d be sure we lost. We must be playing some D tonight with the scores so low. I haven’t been able to watch any of the game.

Gonna beat Creighton but fuck why does this team want to play so poorly all the time. Just have these small spurts of what looks like they finally turn the corner, and resort right back to bad basketball.

Real chance to be 11-2 though before conference play, so can't complain. This team just has way too much to fix to be considered elite right now. I hope they get there. It's still early in the season. Eventually something has to click.
Grant Nelson has been pretty horrible too (along with Stevenson and Sherrell)

Looks like our free throw shooting in the last 2 minutes saved our asses tonight. Terrible 3-point range for us. Their tall freshman was on fire late from the arc.

Hardly gives any effort on either end. The very least if you're open, you should have your feet set and in position for a routine shot in this offense. It's none of that. It's tiring watching him screw up the flow of the offense and not play hard. You're waiting for him to mold into a more offensive oriented version of Clowney with less capabilities on D. It's not happening.

It's reflected in his minutes played CNO won't put up with it.
Did not get to see very much of the game. Watching a replay now. Going 5-2 in the stretch they just went through is really good. Very easily could have been 6-1 and probably should have been. They have room to get better and are still one of the best teams in the country. Probably have more room to grow than any other team ahead of them in the rankings. They will find a way to close teams out I believe. At least I hope so. Once I finish watching the replay maybe I will have a different opinion. Hope Chris Youngblood really gives them a boost as he gets himself in playing shape.

Four words spelled correct.
There were two areas where they "beat Bama," turnovers and assists with they holding a slight lead.
Defense complaints. They had four players on the + side of +/. (three with +1, one with +7)
Boards? Dominating.
Yes, they took more attempts. However, shooting percentage was on par.
Free throws? W for the Tide as well as fouls committed and what happened in the paint.

We did dominate the boards. Aside from Sears our 3 point shooting is terrible. 11 turnovers, not great, but not bad. They had 13. We pretty much maintained a 8 to 10 point lead throughout the game and allowed them to cut it to 5 or 6. Had some defensive lulls too. All in all though, looking at the schedule we've played and be 8-2 ranked #7, that's pretty damn good in my book.
