With the 2022-23 season now in the rearview mirror, Alabama basketball has begun piecing together its 2023-24 non-conference schedule.

According to a report from Joel Lorenzi of the Omaha World-Herald, Alabama and Creighton have scheduled a home-and-home series, playing at Creighton this upcoming season and returning to Alabama at a later date, likely the 2024-25 season.

Creighton and Alabama had a chance to play this past season, both being featured in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament and making it to the second weekend in Louisville, Ky.

The Bluejays defeated 15-seed Princeton in the Sweet 16, while Alabama fell at the hands of 5-seed San Diego State. The Aztecs went on to defeat Creighton by one point in the subsequent Elite Eight game, sending them to their first-ever Final Four.

The game against Creighton marks the second major non-conference series that Alabama has been reported to schedule this offseason. The Crimson Tide will make the trip to Phoenix to play the Arizona Wildcats in non-conference play as well, the first game of a "neutral site" series that will conclude with Arizona playing in the C.M. Newton Classic in Birmingham in 2024-25.
