At what point does the deficiencies of this team fall at Saban's feet? You can blame a coordinator for being awful or a player sucking or a player being hurt just so much. Saban used to thrive in adversity and almost enjoy having to make touch decisions and adjustments. He either lacks the ability and foresight to do it anymore or he's become too stubborn to do it. That's the only thing I can come up with.

If anything starts to go wrong the entire team suffers. Bryce going down shouldn't make the defense suddenly turn into swiss cheese, especially considering Milroe led two TD drives after that. Bryce going down shouldn't stall out the entire offense, again after they had two scoring drives directly after that. It feels like Saban, instead of trying to course correct, wants to just hang on and hope they can slow the bleeding down long enough to retain a lead.

The issue is Milroe is more than capable to do what Bryce has done. Bryce is very accurate on the run which is the difference, but he can still do it all.
