| FTBL Alabama Textbook Investigation

I sure hope there is nothing more. I have no idea how credible this info. is, but I guess no one will until the university releases info.

I have reason to believe that this information is accurate. I got this same story from a person I cannot name (very highly placed) a few days ago. If it is accurate, there will be no NCAA problems at all from the texbook stuff. It was an isolated incident. Stupid...but isolated.

The big issue will be the dollar amount of the text books. If it is under $100, we should have all the players back no later than next week. If it is over $100, it may be the bowl game before they return. It will be on a player by player basis because not all books cost the same.

It's spot on. He got the story from one of his sources within the Athletic Dept.

If you remember the original thread on this it was pointed out very early in this story that this was stemming from another athletic program. I'm not sure if I mentioned track or not...

While the dollar amount is still important, it's not about cash.
