  • Alabama's John Petty Jr. needs just one more three-pointer to become just the fifth person in program history to make at least 200 treys for his career.
  • Alabama enters Saturday's game having played the toughest strength of schedule in the SEC (as of 1/10). According to the latest NET rankings which were release on Jan. 10, the Crimson Tide owns the No. 22 overall strength of schedule and the No. 17 non-conference SOS – both of which lead the SEC.
  • The Tide has scored 1,181 points through its 14 games thus far. With 18 more guaranteed games this season, the Crimson Tide is on pace to program's single-season scoring record of 2,761 points set during the 2000-01 campaign.

  • The series began in 1923.

I haven't looked yet but I'm guessing UA comes into this game with a higher 3pt % than Kentucky. I'll go as far as to guess UK's home percentage is higher, and Bama's road percentage is something to look at a bit.

@#80 you're at the table ...

UA hasn’t beaten UK in a regular season game since last year

cough

@TerryP ..... the Cats shoot the 3 at 30% we are at 37%. We had a stretch earlier in the season where we shot the 3 poorly or we would be even higher.
We have not beat the Cats in Rupp since 2006. Going to need all hands on deck tomorrow.

Man, my son and I are very excited about the game tomorrow. He is six years old and is really getting into sports BIG TIME and it's every father's dream. I hope Petty, Bolden, Shackelford, and Reese can pull the trigger from deep tomorrow and be successful. Reese will be the X-Factor in my mind. Herb will play good defense. Gaylon will be steady, Petty and Kira will do their best to stabilize the team, but Bolden, Petty, Shackelford, and Reese will all need to be on. My son looked at the FPI on the ESPN app and said "daddy, Alabama is gonna win I think, even at 19%". I like it.

Father and Son time!! Great time together!

Pretty sad performance so far in this game. Down 11 first half almost over. Shooting is very bad today.

A pathetic 3 point shooting UK team is something like 5-6 from 3 point and bama only about 2-12 or something like that. Scorers have disappeared on the road.

Sucking it up from behind the arc. We’ve got to come out bombing from long range to close this gap in the 2nd half. 35 points In a half is not going to do it today.

This team is not capable of running coach O’s fast pace offense. 90% of the time when they get a rebound and run they don’t have a clue where they’re going with the ball. It’s like I’ll throw the ball somewhere and hope my teammate is there or I throw up a 3 and hope.

Somehow the team has gotten back in the game. 69-65 UK with around 2 1/2 minutes. Not enough depth and 3 point shooting pretty bad for Bama. To go on the road and beat UK you are going to have to shoot better. Also, depth is showing up. Team playing hard but struggling.
