After spending a long Christmas break dreaming about another BCS National Championship Game and 15 hours on a charter bus, the University of Alabama cheerleaders finally arrived in Miami late Friday night.

On Friday at 5:30 a.m. the men and women of the UA cheer team met at Coleman Coliseum to board the bus with high hopes of bringing home another national championship trophy. Half of the team has been lucky enough to cheer at either Pasadena or New Orleans, but the other half are brand new to this experience.

The bus ride from Tuscaloosa was full of sleepy passengers, snacks and movies to pass the time. Away trips always give the team an opportunity to bond and tell stories about past games to the younger team members. This trip was also spent looking over the itinerary and learning about the exciting events ahead. With the Discover Championship Fan Experience pep rally on Saturday and the Bama Bash on Sunday, this weekend is sure to be another busy, but incredible experience.
