I don't think this has been posted, but it's very good!
BACK ON THE THRONE – MIGHTY CRIMSON TIDE

As the season came upon us, it was all a big guess,
with so many holes to fill, it could have been a big mess;
A brand new quarterback and a rebuilt O-line
left little reason to think everything would be fine;
Caldwell and Smith and John Parker moved on,
Even tight ends Walker and McCall were all gone;
<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1
lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Greenwood</st1:City></st1
lace> and Rashad were no longer there,
Who's gonna snag all the balls from the air;
We went to <st1
lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Atlanta</st1:City></st1
lace> just hoping for good news,
while the barn fans sat home just hoping we'd lose;
The first half was shaky, the second looked great,
we suddenly felt better about our 2009 fate;
34 to 24 when it was all said and done,
and that was just the beginning of a hell of a run;
The Panthers and Mean Green offered little resistance,
and we ran over the hogs with constant persistence;
The Wildcats of Kentucky came ready to play,
but it was the Tide of Alabama victorious that day;
“Now its back to reality” the barners would shout,
the Rebels will beat you and make it a rout;
Then came the beatdown at Vaught Hemingway,
while the barners got beat the very same day;
We thought <st1
lace w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">South Carolina</st1:State></st1
lace> might be ready to fight,
but deep in our hearts, we knew roosters don't bite;
<st1
lace w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Tennessee</st1:State></st1
lace> came calling and about made us sick,
Til Cody came through with his second blocked kick;
He removed his helmet just a tad bit to soon
making Kiffin and Danielson sound like a buffoon;
“We beat them worse” the barners let us know,
all the while losing their third game in a row;
After the longest two weeks, LSU finally came,
with the SEC West riding on this one game;
They were fighting us hard with their good speed and size,
until we forced their players to start dropping like flies;
<st1
lace w:st="on">Jefferson</st1
lace> suffered a high ankle sprain,
and hobbled off the field in obvious pain;
Charles Scott followed suit with a broken collarbone,
and just like that POOF he was gone;
Peterson was cramping like he had PMS,
who was gonna cover Julio was anyone's guess;
They blew their wad, their energy was spent,
after Julio burst down the sideline in a 73 yard sprint;
<st1:City w:st="on">Chattanooga</st1:City> and <st1

for two games in row, there was no need to cuss;
Then came the game we were all waiting for,
we had no idea we were in for a war;
A double reverse for a score then an onside kick,
made me wonder if they had a play that wasn't a trick;
Our team settled down and methodically came back,
the mighty Crimson Tide was finally on track;
It was obvious to all, we weren't playing our best,
but one final drive ripped their hearts from their chest;
15 plays, 79 yards, and 7 minutes later,
it was time turn our attention to the almighty gators;
Carlos Dunlap had some headlines he wanted to steal
by giving new meaning to the phrase “asleep at the wheel”;
It was clear after all the predictions were made,
to the media the game had already been played;
Urban Meyer this and Tim Tebow that,
the Florida Gators is where it's all at;
They have too much talent, there's no way we can win,
we heard this over and over and over again;
But after the kickoff a strange thing took place,
<st1
lace w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Alabama</st1:State></st1
lace> didn't fall flat on their face;
Instead, Bama was putting on a helluva show,
and Timmy and company had nowhere to go;
With Tebow shut down and our offense rolling,
it looked like <st1
lace w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Florida</st1:State></st1
lace> who would be Sugar bowling;
Total domination is how you describe this win,
it was like we played <st1
lace w:st="on"><st1
laceName w:st="on">Mississippi</st1
laceName> <st1
laceType w:st="on">State</st1
laceType></st1
lace> all over again;
Our 22nd SEC championship we now have in hand,
just a month before we show we're the best in the land;
Number 13 is just one win away,
DOMINATE and FINISH is what Nick Saban would say<o
