I'm interested to see if people's assessment of games we will this season differs based on the performance of the preceding night.

After the Clemson game, people were talking about 10-12 wins. After the Tulane game, we came back down to earth and predicted 8 wins, maybe 9.

After last night, what say ye? I'm still going with 8-9 wins. I see our toughest matchups against UGA, LSU, and Ole Miss or Auburn. I do not think we will lose all of those games, I just those as being the most likely to be tripped up.

I have a bad feeling about the Ole Miss game, kinda like how I felt prior to the Tulane game. Just something in me. I'm torn on which team will show up for next weekend so I can't comment my gut feelings lol. Call me crazy but I also have a wierd feeling we somehow upset UGA. Same wierd feeling I had with the Clemson game.

One game at the time though. It's still too early and hard to tell if this young class and adjust on the fly and be consistent about it. We'll see. Should get real exciting from here on out now! RTR

I had the same feeling about Clemson... and also have the same feeling that were going to be the upset win of the week in 2 weeks against Georgia... the only games im worried about is Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Tennessee (even though they're not great this year i know they'll be looking for revenge from last years @$$ kicking we gave them)... other than that im not to worried about anyone else... except maybe the Barn if they get that spread worked out soon... although i must say they do have a pretty good D this year...

If we are able to be up for 9 straight games, I wouldn't concede a single game. But, that's not likely to happen, unless the coaching staff somehow performs a miracle.

We need to be at our absolute best (like Clemson/W.Ky. games) against the obvious teams - Georgia, LSU, Auburn. We will have to play pretty well to beat UTK, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Miss St.

We can't overlook anyone left on our schedule (with the possible exception of the two teams from Arkansas :D ). If we play the way we played against Tulane versus SEC opponents, then we will lose.

Ten games looks very doable.

If we overlook the Ark teams we may very well be looking at a loss for Homecoming. Ark St. isnt a bad football team and with them being right in the middle of TN and LSU I hope CNS and staff can keep the team ready.

Arky State is definitely a team we have to show up for.

If we stay healthy I think we can win them all. How else should I think?

We seem to be able to finish games much better than the previous few years which makes me think we can do it.

After 3 games, I'd say we might have a chance to if the football fairy doesn't cloud Tuscaloosa with injury dust.

That said I'm saying 10-2

Like most of you have said, as long as we show up there aint a game we can't win. So with that being said, I am going with a range of 9-3 to 12-0 with a trip to Atlanta. Anything less than 9 I will consider a devastating case of under achievement.

prediction is......

With the schedule out like it is, I still think that this team is more than capable of at least 8 wins in the regular season. But we all know that what goes on in the minds of 18-23 year olds is about as predictable as the weather. This team could go to Little Rock and thump Arky or lay an egg, then go to Athens and spank the Dawgs. Injuries will be a huge factor in determining the success. RTR

If we don't we'll get our asses handed to us. ANY D1 team capable of scoring 83 points has the ability to ruin your day.
