I was at the game this weekend. What I saw was this: 1) Ole Sis apparently thought they could play man to man with Julio. EVERY time they did, Julio ran right by the cornerback. GMAC threw some balls that were not on the mark, but I've seen Julio catch those types of passes before. 2) As soon as the ball left Greg's hand, the defensive backs were literally hanging from Julio's shoulder pads. Never a penalty called. It was laughable. 3) The times Greg did not throw to Julio, it was almost as if it was not to seem so one-dimensional. Julio was open on every pass play when we weren't 1st and goal, but we obviously can't throw it to him every time. 3) Our offensive line struggled in the red-zone. This I have to give credit to the ole Miss D-Line for bowing up when they had to. Just a case of who wanted it more, IMO. 4) Our defense is will HURT you. We are solid on the defensive side of the ball. 5) Ole Miss is a drinking school with a football problem. Their fans were pessimistic from the get-go. I almost felt sorry for them, until they "Boo"ed their quarterback. Nine times out of ten, if you boo a kid on your own team (especially a QB), he will fold like a cheap suit. 6) It was an ugly win, but a win, nonetheless.
