@Bamabww the little pond these tables look over is home to quite a few geese. It's home to A LOT of bass. A few of the old timers around there stock it when they are fishing. Just for the grand kids thing with those guys. SC, right? Swamp grass and spinner bait. I can't imagine the number of times I've sat at that table with a beer, a bowl, and a rod.

I'll get there in the next day or two. You'll want to see this pic.

The yellows have taken over at Brushy Lake although a few red are looking good too.

To my grandmother this red leafed plant was a seven bark. To city folk it's an Oak leaf hydrangea

The hickories are showing up and showing out.

A little more water over the dam after the rain earlier this week.

The Forest Service turns the running water off and closes the bathrooms on November 1 each year. It's a sad day for the girls.

Hope everyone has a good day,

Love this color...been thinking about putting in a Japanese Maple for years to add something like that to the fall...Nandina is red now, roses are still blooming...

I love Japanese Maple trees. I want to plant one in my front yard but I’m not sure it would do well since it would be in full sun and only shaded by cloudy days.
