Aight, dweebs. A question was asked, I answered, and did it in a manner where those who don't know wouldn't have the answer!

Again again ... :devilish:

It's clear; easy to understand. All it takes is a rudimentary knowledge of a music scale.

OK, LOL. That's a knowledge I don't possess. I do have a rudimentary knowledge of how to search the internet though, which as I mentioned earlier... is the only way one not from that area (on this board anyway) would get it. 0 points awarded. :p

The answer for those who care, that was the farmhouse and filming location for Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

The music bar image I posted? "First Tones" from the movie.

When you think of the movie, you don't think of ...

By the way, that's why I mentioned school and the area of study.

2nd semester, sophomore year, Carmichael Hall, 1st floor, seminar room to the right. T/TH, nights. We spent a good month or so on the Alabama Film Office. Homes like that one, scenes from around Byrnes Lake, a day on the area and scenes from A Long Walk Home ... I knew the house when I saw it and it only took a second to place it.

It's just a weird coincidence.

We are all coming to this forum from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Not only that, most of us interact in this forum with one foot still in the real world, multitasking the best we can.

Consider this an intervention. 😊 You’re in a safe space. We all love and care for you. We wish to understand you better. But you actively, either deliberately or unconsciously, sabotage the process. This is a problem. We know a priori that you desire to be understood, even though your behavior contradicts your desire. So what can we do to help you communicate more openly and more directly? We want to free you from the inhibitions that keep your full expression muzzled. Were you raised in a household which did not welcome or allow your input?? Were you too often ignored, dismissed, overlooked, or underestimated by others, so you adopted a communicative style which is muted, ambiguous, unclear, while discretely advertising to anyone who is listening to you that you know more than the crumbs you’ve dropped may indicate. That’s it, isn’t it? To boldly say what you truly feel was not welcomed, perhaps even punished, so this is your coping strategy: be vague and brief so as to not impose on others around you who were too often not interested in what young Terry had to say. Lastly, your wisecrack shtick is how you get even at those who should have valued what you had to say all those years ago.

Soooooooo … how close am I??? 😄
