The game itself:
I told a UGA buddy of mine that if I had to set an over and under for this game, I would put it around 20. He laughed at me but after watching those two defenses last night, just wow! Alabama was able to assert itself on offense a little more, especially when Lee was in for LSU but props to Jefferson. He played well enough to not lose the game for LSU. I think we were screwed by the Maze to Williams pass but we had other opportunities that we screwed ourself, obviously. Did it seem that the review official rushed his decision on the Maze to Williams pass/interception? That was one of the game changers. The others?
1) Missed field goals. (King Obvious here, I know). 2). Block in the back by Chapman on the Barron interception. It wasn't even called for as Hightower had Barron's protection locked up. 3). Maze should not had been in on that punt return that ended up sailing over his head. That one is on the coaches. 4). Piss poor play calling in OT. Sorry but it was and of course there was lack of execution. We should have just gone for it on 4th down as there wasn't a chance in hell we were going to kick a 52 yard FG.
Les Miles:
Giving him his props. He is a damn good coach and he has been to school on clock management.
Honey Badger:
He is a punk beyotch. Darius Hanks was beating him on routes all night but AJ wasn't finding him. When AJ did find him, he made the catch. What was that crap "holding" call on him when he assaulted Dre Kirkpatrick? Completely uncalled for. Color me unimpressed by the Herbal Gerbil.
Anyway, I am still disappointed and will have more thoughts they may be better kept to myself. ROLL TIDE!!!
