Enos has a lot of plusses. But, if he's OC, then he's probably not the QB coach.

Why? Kiffin was OC and QB coach and so was Daboll... and McElwain and Nussmeier and Applewhite, literally every other OC under Saban.

They changed the number of coaches allowed which let Saban have a QB-only coach. Locksley is only the OC and directs the game from the coaches box. He used to be the receivers coach, but doesn't do that anymore. Kiffin, Daboll, McElwain, Nussmeier and Applewhite all split duties with QB coach and OC.

That I understand but there is nothing stopping Enos from being the OC and QB coach.

@JoseyWalesTheOutlaw, his services are wanted. By a lot.

He wanted the job here last year. He's got leverage.

This is the situation at Auburn now: top donors and university officials are so unhappy with the head football coach that they are seeking to undercut him by limiting assistants' contracts to single year deals. This is currently preventing AU from hiring Hugh Freeze as OC. /1

Josh Moon ? @Josh_Moon Freeze is reportedly seeking a multi-year deal from future employers. Sources said Malzahn has asked AU to wave the recent restriction on multi-year contracts in order to hire Freeze. AU response: Nah. /2
