Thinking differently...one could say...a 14 team format is really no different than a 12...
2 more tv games.......wasnt for 12...not for 14......
But why not just finish it at 16....with no byes...
8 games...4 games..2 games...1 game....

Drop regular season back to 11 games ( wont happen I know)... have bowl games for every team..( already have them for 5 win teams...dont mean anything anyway..let the 1-10 team play the 0-11 team for rights to worse ever team)

Anyway. Nil...portal....12-14-16 team playoffs...all have changed life for us footballers anyway
