| RECRUIT 5-star QB Bryce Young commits to Alabama.

I won't be sold on Sark until I see Bama doing this against LSU, Auburn, etc. I may be harsh on the dude but I'm not that way for no reason. He's making a million dollars a year, I think he can handle that a dude he will never meet and has never heard of thinks he's a mediocre play caller.

He wouldn’t be at Bama for a second time if he was mediocre. I mean I could be wrong and maybe Saban is an idiot🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting that Young's dad observed the pass protection Tua is getting...seems he's more knowledgeable than some of our fanbase on other boards who've moaned about pass protection. I was at the South Carolina game and aside from the early pressure they got he's barely been touched.

Dickerson won an SEC OL of the week award. Cole Cubelic just said last week that Jedrick Wills is the best RT in the country (which means better than Georgia's RT).

To me most of the offensive line issues have been in the between the guards/center or at TE. That impression comes from when I see penetration it appears to come from one of those two sources. It does seem to be improving every game.

@UAgrad93, I like what I'm seeing with Sark this year. Still, a little heavy RPO but that's context. I really wish I could see the 22 view with every game.

Tell me I'm an idiot in the defense SOS thread ...

I hope we can show that we utilize the tight end so we can get Arik Gilbert. Having another tight end like OJ Howard will be a massive opportunity for us. I feel we have done a great job of it so far, but I hope with the lack of blocking we don't just do away with a tight end.

Ain't this a thread about QB Bryce Young?

Yep! Randolph has been sporting the #85 as well as having Womack coming in for short yardage situations.

Speaking of... Slightly off topic - Yall remember Brandon Greene?

I read that he was starting at RT for a team (maybe Carolina?) last season and was injured this season, but they put him on IR to keep him potentially active after week 8. Pretty amazing when you consider he couldn't get on the field as a OT here but became that blocking TE. Happy he found some success at the next level... Good team player.

If any of you have watched QB1 on Netflix, Young is going to be on next season and apparently his decision to flip to Alabama is going to be a big part of it.

Tide fans will have an opportunity to see Alabama’s newest verbal commit, Bryce Young, in action, when Mater Dei High School takes on St. John’s High School this Friday live on the ESPN television network.

He already smoked St. Frances I. Maryland where Shane Lee went and where Braswell plays. Best team in the country, so folks should definitely tune in.

Going to miss out, so I will have to record it. Got to go watch my son defend home turf Friday night against Childersburg. It is the last rivalry game that Sylacauga has, thanks to some area coaches backing out in the last several years. We sit 4-1 overall and 2-1 in Region play.

If anyone was wondering about Farrell and his impotence towards Alabama commits...

Ole boy is just sour grapes and has an ego that's pretty big. Pretty big for a small fat guy that watches teenagers all day, every day.
