Help me figure it out. On the front page of this thread I see 5 WRs on scholarship. Williams, Brooks, Scott, Meadows, and Morgan. Am I missing someone? If 2 of those guys get hurt, who are you going to get to run a 4 WR set? This is what I see. Please correct me if I missed someone? You need at least 7 scholarship WRs to have depth. Last year Bama had Bernard, Horton, Williams, Scott, Brooks, Meadows, Hale, Adams, and even a converted DB, Mbawkwe. That's a count of 9 potential WRs who could step up when someone is injured. We have 5 on roster. There' s no depth.

Honestly asking here, was there some concern out there by Bama fans that Hubbard was leaving or going somewhere? Looking at the X announcement from Yea Alabama people seem surprised and I don't understand.

I've not heard anything that specific. Until the portal closes there are going to be some nerves in the building because opposing teams are still reaching out to current players with offers, but I'm not aware of anyone who is for sure bolting as of now (which obviously doesn't mean there isn't). Hopefully, if a DL is wavering, the staff can lock them back down... really can't afford to lose any of those guys at this point.

This came from secramt board and someone said that an insider to expect another DL to enter the portal.

Haywood is good get for depth and the future (assuming he sticks around), but Bama needs some experienced, well-seasoned OL added before all is said and done.

I think we'll likely see a starting 5 among these pieces

Sanders 6th option can play all spots

I think we'll add at least 1 maybe 2 more additions along the OL with some experience to push the young guys a bit...I still like the idea of McBroom and 2 more. Hopefully the guy I linked from Ohio is being looked at. There will be a few more that we could grab before the portal is fully finished..Oregon started pouring into the portal today but likely Oregon and Ole Miss guys will still be hitting the portal over the next few days or at least floating ideas with their Agents.
