🏈 2026 Alabama Roster Management Chart and Portal news

The right fit helps the overall team. I think people pay too much attention to the top rated portal players, there’s over 2,000 kids in the portal and I can guarantee a lot of those kids are damn good talent and can help teams immediately

This makes sense back when these guys weren't being paid. This environment it's impossible to keep a guy four years. Unity, gelling, and development just don't happen.

Seems kind of a waste of time to build a team for the future when no one stays at one school anymore and offers go out left and right.

JMO in today's college football the assistant coaches are really going to have to be damn good and with really no limits (other than off campus recruiting) there is no excuse for having good coaches. When you see us play you don't see a team that does the fundamentals well. Time on the field is one reason but that's more of an excuse. If coaches demand it, then you will get more of it.

Kalen has to upgrade his staff in these next two weeks. I have read that the OL coach is g but that might be wishful thinking. The staff has to take these players they have and make them better are they are going to fail as a staff. The portal is helpful but trying to run the shop out of there could be a huge mistake.

I can take losing, but I want to see us playing each play full speed while giving their best efforts.

Play for Alabama
Win for Alabama
Lose with Class
Get Better for the Team

I wanted so much to wear that Red jersey but wasn't good enough. Never stopped me from loving The Tide.

2026 is the beginning or it's something else. Hope for the best.

Things and plans tend to change at times with this staff (to be fair, they did at times under Saban too), but the expectation is Kapilovic will either retire, take a support role, or quietly take another job this winter/spring.

Clark is an interesting back....

So everyone knows what happened. Clark was RB1 for Texas this year going into the year and through camp. He was expected to get the bulk of the load and Texas was high on him to be their feature back but a practice injury cost him the season.

Texas was supposedly interested in keeping him around for another year or two but with Brown and Smothers joining, Clark and his agent have already reached out to Bama behind the scenes and expressed interest to see if Bama would take him.

Bama is currently mulling it over from what has been gathered so far on this. Not sure if Bama wants him or not, but Clark and his Agent have already reached out, so seems like if there's mutual interest we may have our RB everyone has been wanting.

Hill had some productivity with the OL we had and it was not very good as we all know. We have to solve the trenches problem or it does not matter who is in the backfield. Hill will be fine if we do that.
