Little bit of both. I'd say about 12-15 were told "We're moving on from you" and about 5-7 will be "I wanna try to find a new place to thrive" I mean see Talty and the LS both caused issues throughout the season and they've been shown the door. Mbakwe didn't wanna do what the coaches wanted and was asked to move on. Anugworm was asked to move on after the first year didn't work he didn't progress or move the needle. So many others on there that are similar to that hard to go over them all it's a case by case basis

Do they tell a player to move on that isn't a high dollar value player that is a second string guy, or are they only telling guys to leave that aren't playing to the level of their pay?

Isn’t Talty still here?

OK Cowboy

You know folks so you get them on the phone with this cat today. He is #23 for Montana State (RB)

I have watched this cat about 3 times this year and I don't understand why he isn't playing with the big boyz. He has football savvy and speed.

I'm not familiar with him. I haven't watched much FCS this season; very little in fact.

Hate to lose Horton, but with Simpson leaving it was a possibility. He will be highly sought after but also carry a big price tag. When he left Miami, he was already getting some 2nd round grades by scouts.
Yea, the problem with Horton for this year was that he'd be breaking in a new QB and he would be paid more than he's worth. He'd make less going to the draft right now so he wants to hang in College, find a proven QB for a year and hopefully raise his stock.
A&M. Personally, I question whether Reed is good enough for Horton to improve his draft stock.

I see the same thing, sort of, with Coleman. He's looking at the QB. I suspect Manning has his eye.

Probably right on the Manning thing. And Texas Tech is also bringing in a solid passing QB from the portal if I remember correctly. If they can offer that and the bag, they will both have a leg up on us.
