I haven't been since 2012. It was nice the last time I was there. Great scenery. But I've heard homelessness is bad now.

Still, get inside the mind of a young player that is being offered millions. Hard to turn down an opportunity like that and play in an offense that does a good job of getting you in space.

Just my thoughts. If he chooses Texas, I could see why. Biggest bidder + Sark's offense.
Its pretty bad now. Watching a bunch of drunk college kids trying to play pool at Lavaca Street bar is both painful and hilarious.

Amazing to me that we can go to Athens and win and then look like weak sisters of the poor vs IU. How does that happen? Then Vandy, Missouri, Tenn, and SC, LSU-all decent teams. We lost something along the way to the disaster in Pasadena. Everything I'm hearing is that we are not hard nosed enough, coaching is soft, etc. If this is the case, maybe DeBoer is not the answer....how long before the money people figure out that a basketball guy as athletic director may not/will not work for football....

Blaming Byrne for this is disingenuous. He went out and got arguably the best coach available, coming off a national title appearance and in the midst of contract extensions with Washington. He played it perfectly; and by all accounts, found a great coach to replace a legend. The fact that DeBoer hasn't lived up the standard (which - let's be real - is an insane bar, but the standard nonetheless) is at no fault of Byrne.

I have a ton of questions whether DeBoer is the guy or not. But he's going into year three now coming off a playoff appearance, making the SECCG, beating all three rivals, and has a great recruiting class coming in. Now the fact remains is he needs to alter his coaching style to really mold into a championship level coach. But blaming Byrne is wild. We're lucky we have him as an AD and not Bill Battle.

Good post.

I think you pay Coleman. He may be whatever, but he has pass catching talent. With Bernard gone, you absolutely have to build an outside threat. Horton, Williams, Coleman, and Brooks is huge. Morgan coming in is great.

We lose the down field threat, guess what, they load the box and we are stuck again like we were this year with no run game.

Defense is my forte, but even with our defense doing well this year we still got smashed in big games, so we have to load up on offense.

Not blaming Byrne, saying he's on the hook if this doesn't work out.

I can see your point, but I can’t see $4 million for 1 kid. I’d rather find me 3-4+ and evenly distribute that money. Now, if he is willing to sign for less, then by all means. If not, get a couple of IOL and DL.

this should be pinned.

If, and I mean if... because I don't see it happening, he were to sign with UA, it would be at a discount rate compared to his other offers.

I'd love to have him in Crimson & White though...
