Think he has too lose the fear. Seemed like putting him in the slot just got in his head, he doesn't want to be hit imo.

He definitely needs to get tougher... and needs to understand that he cant get by on talent alone anymore like he did in HS. He hasn't had a great support system around him (off the field) that really have his best interests in mind and he's not mature enough (yet?) to handle that well. But he is tremendously talented and if he ever decides to put in the extra time to tap into all of it... like a Jalen Hurts or DeVonta Smith, he will take off.

Since he got roughed up last year he has played timid or scared IMO and he does not block down field.

His parents enjoying the good life. This cat doesn't have the desire to be great nor the discipline to get there. You can't keep funding a nonproductive player with big dollars because the other players are going to resent and you get even more problems.

Kalen and staff have been very kind to #2.

Spent offseason with Devota.
.... ( or so i understand) .....
Thought that would do it.

Great roll model.

Honestly:
Bernard = more reliable
Horton = more reliable
Brooks = more reliable
Cuevas = more reliable
Probably a few more. I know the kid has talent but until you show it consistently, it’s all hype.
I hope he stays, and I hope he figures it out, but what game in the last 6 was he the difference???
This may spur a different convo, but RM was told how great he was last year and he believed it. He thought he could walk through this year and be great again. Devonta worked his ass off and he got a trophy and several rings. RW could too but I get the feeling he doesn’t have that same drive.

Of course he doesn’t have the same drive, he’s being PAID now.

How much less could you care? Or, did you mean that you couldn't care less?
I hate when folks misuse that phrase. It like not knowing the difference in there, their and they’re.

As for Williams and those drops. So, I am not impressed. He’s a little over rated IMO. But. He’s also young and probably not completely mature as his fellow receivers. I think he will have a hell of a junior season and hope he keeps rolling with the tide.
