Will it basically be the same schedule as this year, just reversed Home/Away?

With the expansion one of my questions is whether next season carries one or two bye weeks. I still haven't figured out how they are going to manage this the next few seasons.Yes, dates are the only thing worth watching for.
I have always maintained that there should be 2 bye weeks. Move the season openers to the last weekend in August and allow for it.With the expansion one of my questions is whether next season carries one or two bye weeks. It would take some reshuffling of the NCAA calendar (if nothing has changed since the last time I looked at their criteria.)I have always maintained that there should be 2 bye weeks. Move the season openers to the last weekend in August and allow for it.
So...they do have to go to classes....?It would take some reshuffling of the NCAA calendar (if nothing has changed since the last time I looked at their criteria.)
Players are allowed to start practicing 30 days before their first class. Unless that's changed...everyone would need to start classes on 9/2 so they could start practices in the first full week of August. In some cases, that's two and three academic calendars that would have to be changed: across the board. IE: No more quarters ...
I hope SEC Fixes the bye weeks .. I think two or three teams had bye week before playing Alabama. I hate that.So ...reversed schedule l..
We go to uga...au...USCe....and missouri
Home with...lsu..Oklahoma...vandy...tn...
And Wisconsin....( hope bama does jump around)
Away...fsu....( ban the tomahawk shit)
N eastern Illinois...n la monroe
Thats one hell of an away schedule again
Outstanding! Plenty of time to plan for travel. Definitely planning to make it to Tallahassee, Mizzou might be a nice trip.
I already have rooms the night before and after in Tallahassee, depending on game time.

I hear East St. Louis is pretty that time of year!Tim, actually not a bad trip at all. Many years ago, I had to visit Tiger Travel once a month in Columbia. The stadium reminds me a bit of college football's version of Chavez Ravine in the fact that a lot of the stadium is below where you enter on street level. Not a lot of rooms so if you can't be right in Columbia, the western burbs of STL are not bad (Lake St Louis, O'Fallon, MO) Shakespeare Pizza is a must in Coumo!
I was at the St. Louis Fed for a few days earlier this year, near the arch. If there isn't a ball game, that area is deserted.I hear East St. Louis is pretty that time of year!
Yeah and that's too bad. It used to be really hopping with Union Station right there, etc.I was at the St. Louis Fed for a few days earlier this year, near the arch. If there isn't a ball game, that area is deserted.
The Tide Takes Tallahassee??? I may go to that one as well and bring my son. We outta get together if it all works out. Got a buddy with AirBNB's in Thomasville that I may try and snag a night at.Outstanding! Plenty of time to plan for travel. Definitely planning to make it to Tallahassee, Mizzou might be a nice trip.

If it's Labor Day weekend again, I might actually already be at a friend's house in Alligator Point, on the coast just south of Tallahassee. Definitely open to bending an elbow. Whichever direction I come from, I'll be around. The Tide Takes Tallahassee??? I may go to that one as well and bring my son. We outta get together if it all works out. Teams receive 25 practice days (no more 2-3 a days) leading up to the start of the season. When classes start is irrelevant. Some schools, like Alabama, start classes in mid-August (Alabama starts August 20, 2025). Others start after Labor Day.It would take some reshuffling of the NCAA calendar (if nothing has changed since the last time I looked at their criteria.)
