🏈 2025 NFL Draft Thread

There is some irony there... Bronny only got drafted because of his famous father's influence over a professional team... Shedeur slid in the draft, in part, due to his famous father's influence, which hangs over him like a dark cloud.
It may be the best part of this story.

Why?

I'm not asking for an answer...just watching.

That's a great point; however, let's make sure Shedeur is properly identified as a co-conspirator in all of this, not a victim. If his dad was mute, Shedeur has said enough to deflate his worth to an NFL team.

He knew his flaws last season. But, in a choice to "Let All Naysayers Know," he chose to ignore his coaching and try to "prove" he was a passing QB.

How is that high character?

I get what you're saying and it's a valid point.

Here are my thoughts. He tried doing it his way hoping to buck the mindset that he couldn't. It likely costed him millions of dollars. He now realizes that he can't do it his way, acknowledges his mistakes, owns them, and is ready to do what he needs to do to earn a job with a company. Once again, 21 or 22 years old, a lot of us were making selfish and stupid decisions. Can we learn from them and this is what I believe even the biggest Milroe haters can appreciate a out him.

He frustrated the shit out of me, and I feel should have been benched MANY times. All that being said, it takes a lot of character to admit your flaws. Deion and Shedeur sure didn't and still blaming others, and we see who got picked before who.

I think he'll contribute early if they have RPO and run-centric packages for him like they mentioned after his selection, and perhaps he'll develop into a starter. If not, I hope he continues to save his money.

BUT.

I am supposed to consider this man to be of high character with what he did to the team last season?

No. Just, no.

I've said for months I was going to start talking about him...here it is.
